This study explores how local and international aid groups experience insecurity in the migration hotspots on Lesvos, Chios, and Samos in Greece. We explore how stakeholders approach and understand this insecurity and what strategies are employed to mitigate this, for instance, in the ways relations are shaped, maintained, or altered between humanitarian actors, aid groups, and the host and migrant communities. In this report, we analyze to what extent and effect mitigation approaches are applied and recommend ways to improve this.
