Research objectives of PSD working groups/working groups:
• Gain insights in how MSPs influence the implementation and governance of service delivery;
• Find out whether and how a change in the implementation and governance of services through MSPs affects the
legitimacy of state-institutions involved in such processes;
• Find out whether and how participation in MSPs on service delivery affects the legitimacy of state institutions;
• Make recommendations as to how international donors can strengthen the legitimacy of state institutions through MSPs
Peace, Security and Development Network 2011
This publication is an outcome of the in 2008 established ‘Network for Peace, Security and Development’. The Network aims to support and encourage the sharing of expertise and cooperation between the different Dutch sectors and organisations involved in fragile states. The PSD Network is an initiative under the Schokland Agreements in 2007.
