Measuring Results in Transitional Justice: Takeaways from a Roundtable with Practitioners
This post is the second in a two-part series through which ICTJ aims to contribute to the development of better monitoring and evaluation practices, which take an evidence-based approach, in the field of transitional justice.
In the past months, ICTJ has conducted a desk review of the topic, followed by several semi-structured interviews with members of three stakeholder groups: academics, policymakers, practitioners, and donors. On October 28, 2020, ICTJ, supported by the Knowledge Management Fund, hosted an online meetings to discuss our findings with peers from international and national organizations, governments, development agencies, academia, professional evaluators, and funders. We are sharing here the main takeaways and recommendations from those discussions.
