Democracy School is a civil society organization - non-governmental - non-profit - neutral
It works to consolidate the concepts of human rights, women’s rights, children’s rights, and vulnerable groups. It was established in 2002 and focuses its interests on:
1- Social and Legal Defense Center for Juvenile Justice: Many children are exposed to legal difficulties when approaching the law, which constitutes a violation of the rights of the child.
2- Governance of children’s rights: through the Children’s Parliament project in Yemen, which works dynamically by following up on the government with regard to protecting children and combating violence.
3- Yemen Girls' Union: The union works to empower Yemeni girls economically as an entry point for realizing their rights.
4- Improving the livelihoods of war-affected communities.
5- The Women's Shadow Parliament.
6- Multiple projects during the 19 years since the establishment of the organization.
