Rajith Lakshman

Rajith W. D. Lakshman is a financial economist by training with a PhD focused on stock market inter-linkages. His post-doctoral research has focused on conflict, poverty, and development within the specific area of migration (forced and voluntary). He has performed quantitative and qualitative analyses of displaced households in conflict and disaster affected areas. His current/recent work involves; Displacement, Placemaking and Wellbeing in cities (EU funded); internal displacement and gender (GCRF); big data for media analysis in conflict affected countries (KMF); and multisectoral development planning for hosts and refugees (UNHCR).
