News on Rutte's Visit to Indonesia (November 2013)

This is a clipping of news articles published by a number of Indonesian media - The Jakarta Post, The Jakarta Globe, and Antara News, on the visit of the Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte to Indonesia from 20th to 22nd of November 2013.

Rutte, who leads 200 businesspeople representing more than 100 companies and research institutes on a three-day visit, will met with President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono as the Netherlands aims to build a new chapter of deeper cooperations with Indonesia, while trying to offset incidents that have damaged relations with its former colony in recent years. 

To show that the visit is historic and crucial, Rutte and Yudhoyono signed an unprecedented joint declaration on comprehensive partnership between the two countries to take the relations to a new high. The declaration will become an umbrella agreement for both countries to boost their cooperation further.
