Peacebuilding and international affairs professional specialized in project management, conflict sensitivity, and conflict resolution with specific focus on inclusive, locally-led approaches to peacebuilding research, policy and programming.
Jasper holds over six years of combined field, policy and academic experience working in South East Asia, West Africa and Europe supporting civil society, non-state armed groups and government actors, researching and managing conflict resolution and peacebuilding interventions.
He has particular experience in program management; qualitative research and policy analysis; Systems thinking; Concept note and proposal development; Training and capacity-building of partners; Key stakeholder interviews and relationship-building; Conflict Sensitivity and social cohesion approaches; and political economy analysis. Including particular research expertise on peace agreement implementation and peace agreement implementation phase dialogue mechanisms.
Jasper Peet-Martel is a Rotary Peace Fellow, holds a Master’s in Social Science from Uppsala University’s Department of Peace and Conflict Research in Sweden and a B.A. in Political Science from Macalester College in the United States.
