Biography
Bertus Wennink is a specialist in multi-stakeholder approaches for local economic development, inclusive agribusiness development and agri-service provision, improving food security and sustainable land use. He has additional expertise in the design and implementation of approaches and tools for action-research and monitoring for learning in these fields.
Mr Wennink is an experienced trainer and workshop facilitator with strong intercultural communication skills and a qualified conflict mediator (NMv 2011 – mediator code available on demand). He joined KIT in 1994 and now has 31 years of experience; mainly through long-term assignments in Mali and Benin and short-term expert missions in West, East Africa and the Great Lakes Region in Central Africa.
