Satish Subedi

Satish is an experienced finance professional; entrepreneur & founder. He is a founder of Himalayan Consulting Group Private Limited – a consulting firm working towards SDGs; proprietor of an auditing & advisory firm licensed as a statutory auditor in Nepal. He is a member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nepal and has an extensive 8 years of professional experiences. He has acquired his 3 years professional training in New Delhi, India. His expertise lies in financial and risk management, project financial management and public finances. He has been a financial consultant of government projects financed by bilateral organizations in Nepal. He is also serving independently for Office of Auditor General, Nepal of government undertakings. Apart from this, he has been doing Social audits, Monitoring & Evaluation and Risk-based audits for different non government organizations and government bodies of Nepal. HISTORY: Right after the massive earthquake in April 2015, Mr Subedi worked as Finance & Administrative Manager at one of the leading right based organization in Nepal. Managed 17 Projects with annual budget USD 2 million; and has worked closely with program units on - advocacy of women, children and youth's right of minority groups; affected from disaster and conflicts, - Disaster Risk Reduction, - Emergency Preparedness and Response. He has adequate understanding of operating procedures followed by International Bilateral Organization like ADB or International Non Government Organization like UNDP, ILO, SWAF, GFW, DCA. WWDP, Miseror etc; for implementation of their projects in Nepal. SKILLS: Satish is also experience in conducting Social Audits, Monitoring & Evaluations, Baseline Surveys for different private and non-private institutions and reporting on CSR. He has exceptional skills on creative, professional and analytical report writing; documentation of case stories, and progress reports.
