Libya in Turmoil: Implications for international support?

The Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Platform will host an expert meeting to explore the implications of current political and security affairs in Libya for what external interventions can hope to achieve, and how they should be configured. The meeting will help the international community, including the EU and the Netherlands, to make a more meaningful contribution to the development of Libyan security structures.

Two sessions will survey the state of Libyan politics and security, before delving more deeply into EU contributions to crisis management in Libya.
